My work is about creating deep connection. I work with pottery because it
answers real needs. I intend my work to be a vehicle of connection to our
food, to our home, to our daily commonalities of self-care, and to our past. I
am interested in the language of signs, symbols, and traditions that have
shaped us, and how our tribal memory is embedded in our current culture.
When people use my pieces, my intention is to encourage a daily celebration
of being alive while feeling a connection to our roots.
